Discussion | Inauguration Day: Conversations and Readings Reflecting on the 2008 and 2016 Elections


Artist Ruth Patir has invited guest artists and teachers to consider the dream as a site of political intervention. Participants include: musician Jackson Randall, performance artist Virginia Lee Montgomery, Tamar Ettun with performance collective, The Moving Company, choreographer Lauren Bakst in collaboration with Effie Bowen, comedic artist Morgan Bassichis, screenings of new video work by Liz Magic Laser and Ruth Patir, and an hour-long Gaga movement class (open to all levels) taught by Lee Scher. All events on this day are free and open to the public.
