The East Side Stories project, now its thirteenth year, presents a collection of solo performance pieces based on interviews with neighborhood residents in the Lower East Side.
This is a participatory roundtable discussion with previous actors and neighborhood subjects from these oral history perfomances facilitated by Alex Roe, Artistic Director. Learn more about their experience and methodology as an oral history interview becomes a 20-minute monologue.
Archival materials from the past twelve years of productions will be presented as video, photographs, and transcripts at the roundtable and in the building lobby.
