Santo Loquasto is USITT’s 2017 Distinguished Achievement Award winner in Scene Design and Technology. Loquasto has some 430 projects to his credit in his 52-year career. He has been nominated for Oscars for costumes and production design for three Woody Allen films. He has also designed for the Metropolitan Opera and the Chicago Lyric Opera and for dance at the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the National Ballet of Canada.
